Honestly, I don't know how I've solved the problem (I think I just re-entered my old authorization number again) but the plug luckily doesn't behave like that anymore. Just for the record, the guy from the store I always buy from has confirmed that what I originally thought was the case - that whatever your online/offline status is when authorizing EZ Drummer "dictates" whether or not you can use the plug or not!!!INSANE.It sounds like some are able to "work around" this (see Lumcas' post above) - but it's ezdrunmer ridiculous, if that is really the requirements.

I still keep thinking I must be confused somehow - really - so PLEASE correct ckmputer, guys, if I've gotten this all wrong.For crying out loud - my internet connection goes out, for example, and I can't use EZ Drummer?!??

This plug seems to sound good, and it's at a good price, too. I authorized my copy of EZdrummer while connected to the internet and when I wanted to upgrade to a new version 1.0.1. offline, the program wanted me to register again. Also firing it up in Cubase while offline caused the autorization window to pop up for some time.

Ezdrummmer, I don't know how I've solved the problem (I think I just re-entered my old authorization number again) is the plug luckily doesn't behave like that anymore. Just for the record, the guy from the store I always buy from has confirmed that what I originally thought was the case - that whatever your keygfn status is when authorizing EZ Drummer "dictates" whether or not you can use the plug or not!!!INSANE.It sounds like some are able to "work around" this (see Lumcas' post above) - but it's beyond ridiculous, if that iv really the requirements.

I still keep thinking I must be confused somehow - really - so PLEASE correct me, guys, if I've gotten this all computerr crying out loud - my internet connection goes wzdrummer, for example, and I can't use EZ Drummer?!?? Or what - I'm supposed to authorize while offline, and then shut off my internet everytime I fire up EZ Drummer?!?I've been waiting for a great, ready-to-go multi-sampled drum plug for YEARS - I really have - I keep hoping Spectrasonics will release one, by the way, but I doubt they will.

This plug seems to sound good, and it's at a good price, too.
